And I cared not to resist
The heavens seemed to part

Lifting my spirit into the air
Way beyond my dreams
Far from my schemes
There was just you
And suddenly I knew

That in the clamoring of my heart
When the heavens seemed to part
I found what I never knew
And fell in love with you
Like a poem that springs from inside
I needed you close to me, to be by your side
Like a flower waiting for the spring
Love again opened its wings
You were all that I wished for
I couldn't have asked for more
You kept me up when I was down
You didn't yell and you didn't frown
No harsh words so hurtful to the ear
Just softness and caring to make it all clear

In you I found what I was looking for
And answered what I could not before
You were the sun and you were the light
To erase the darkness, to escape from the night
To hear your whisper, the wind blowing in my ear
Telling of far off visions, waiting for us near

And feel the beating of your heart
Telling me everything is as it should be
Like before the rain, in the calmness of the sea

Como un poema que brota desde adentro
Te necesitaba cerca de mi, solo para estar a tu lado
Como una flor esperando la primavera
El amor volvio a abrir sus alas
Tu eras todo lo que habia deseado
No podia haber pedido mas
Tu me mantenias arriba cuando estaba desanimado
Sin gritos ni malas caras
Sin palabras duras tan dolorosas al oido
Solo suavidad y cuidados para dejarlo todo claro
